Curiosity and Enthusiasm

I am a retired teacher, avid reader, free thinker, quilter, embroiderer and fiber artist.  I live  in southern Ontario with a Motley dog, and a motley crew of two, poets, writers and curmudgeons both.

My blog is named after a line from Shakespeare that says, in effect, let me dress however I want and speak my mind freely. My gravatar is a little dragon I made, named Interrobang, after the combination question and exclamation mark. Interrobang… curiosity and enthusiasm…  question and exclaim!?  That is what my blog is about… learning and sharing the excitement of that learning… a great hobby for a retired teacher  who loves to read, to think, and to write.

If you have any thoughts or comments that you’d like to share, I’d love to hear from you.  You can comment on the blog, of course, or you can reach me at Motley’s Mail.

  1. Thank you for following my blog. I like your enthusiasm. I’m a student of life and I suppose, a bit of a teacher myself — I enjoy sharing what I’ve learned. I’m always looking for the truth, peeling back layers and trying to understand what motivates and inspires people to behave as they do. I think I’ll enjoy following your blog, as well.
I look forward to seeing you around!
